  • Student applicant visa: Issued with conditional admission; enrollment at a university is required within a maximum of 24 months.
  • Student visa: The best option for those who already have direct university admission.

The most important thing for the application:

  • Financial proof (blocked account or sponsor)
  • Complete documentation

Visa process:

  • Takes approximately 3–6 weeks
  • First reviewed by the consulate, then by the immigration office in Germany

In case of rejection:

  • An appeal (remonstration) can be submitted
